Unit made of non-impregnated mountain larch, sawn timber heart-separated. Rinds (4-5 cm) white-peeled by hand, natural tree surface remains tangible and tactile. Tongue and groove planks made of 4 cm solid wood, highly resilient, no trickling through. Climbing rungs made of hardwood (ash) Ø 4.2 cm, milled, mortised, secured against twisting. Retractable two-part screws. Back and forth movements with sintered metal slide bearings, self-lubricating. Hot-dip galvanised steel chains (V2A / V4A at an extra charge) welded before galvanising, short-linked, without eyelets on the connecting parts, easy to replace and shorten.
