The partner pendulum makes the law of cause and effect physically tangible in a playful way. If one pendulum is set swinging while the other is stationary, the latter picks up the swinging of the other pendulum after a few seconds and vice versa. With synchronized swinging, the pivot point is extended and the play becomes correspondingly wilder. The rope geometry also allows the play partners to alternate bouncing movements on the pendulums.
