Device made of non-impregnated mountain larch, sawn timber heart-cut. Rinds (4-5 cm) peeled white by hand, natural tree surface remains tangible and tactile. Climbing rungs made of hardwood (ash) Ø 4.2 cm, milled, mortised, secured against twisting.

The claddings of the tower walls arede-barked by hand allowing them toretain the natural structure of the wood.This means you can still feel where thebranches used to grow on the tree, andthe grain remains visible. The naturalsurface is more important to us thanthe cost savings of using industrialproduction. The playrooms of our towersare also little individual play-house offersand their size matches that of a child'sperception. By providing intermediatefloors, cosy little rooms are created.
