Cross Scales
Device made of non-impregnated mountain larch, palisades white-peeled, with sloping end grain (wood protection measure), pendulum seat with soft bumper edge and steel insert. Cardan joint, hot-dip galvanised, consists of two sintered metal plain bearings, allows free swinging in all directions. Profiled disc for optimum pressure distribution and protection against water ingress. Retractable two-part screws. Back and forth movements with sintered metal plain bearings, self-lubricating. Chains made of hot-dip galvanised steel (V2A / V4A for an extra charge) welded before galvanising, short-linked, without eyelets on the connecting parts, easily replaceable and easy to shorten.

Effectively, the Cross Scales is a raised see-saw with hanging seats. The up and down movement can be carried-out with a slight spring to it or with full force. At the same time, a hard bump is damped by means of a mechanical spring system. Sideways swinging and even swinging in small circles is possible while sitting on the long hanging pendulum seats. The Cross Scales encourage communication and cooperation.
